Sounds Sisters Episode 21-Linh Le (Bad Cop/Bad Cop)

The Sound Sisters shred into Season 3 with a vengeance alongside their special guest Linh Le, bassist and all around badass of Fat Wreck Chords’ Bad Cop / Bad Cop. The sisters kick off the episode with their roundtable topic “dealing with post tour depression” and finding that work/life/music balance. They bring in Linh to hear her perspective on the subject, as well as discuss what it’s like to have a side project with Tre Cool of Green Day, the deets on BCBC new album The Ride, and her perspective as a songwriter focusing on societal topics such as immigration and people seeking asylum in the U.S. Later, she opens up about the importance of self care and her second creative love; cooking. Sound Sisters Episode 18-Myra Gallarza from Bad Cop/Bad Cop

…and the Sound Sisters are back from their hiatus to talk one of Fat Wreck Chords all-time best drummers, Myra Gallarza from Bad Cop/Bad Cop. This episode kicks off with the round table topic: The Necessary Evil of Social Media in Creative Businesses. The ladies then chat with Myra about overcoming sexism early on in the music industry. She also reveals sneak peak recording info on Bad Cop’s upcoming album, what it was really like to work with Fat Mike, and does some reminiscing about road story misadventures with acts such as Dog Party and Pity Party. Later on, Myra spooks the Sound Sisters with stories about Ouija board experiences and her real life ghost encounters.
